YUM YUM YUM. 10 out of 10 recommend! I got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with beef and as someone who has issues with textures I usually always end up finding a piece of meat too squishy to eat.... NOT here! Every bite was quality. My man got the mighty Viking and even that was packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. The employees were so polite and welcoming, perfect little clean place for a quick bite or take it Togo. We will be back to try something new!
Big Philly cheesesteak fan and this one was amazing, A pretty hearty sandwich that was flavorful and well balanced. Might make this a weekly stop. Best cheese steak in marin if someone finds a better one i will buy their next one.
The owners of this store are so sweet & kind and you'll leave with a smile on your face after speaking with them. You can really feel how genuine they are and how much they truly care about their customers & what they do! We split a large philly cheesesteak and it was so delicious. It came out piping hot and every single bite had a crazy cheese pull. The bread tasted really fresh & toasty and the ingredients were very generous. I loved how small they chopped the onion & bell peppers! They also give a house made sambal-like hot sauce to go with your sandwich. It's delicious and I'd recommend trying it out on the side! The interior is clean and there's also 2 tables outside for outdoor seating. I'd be a regular here if I lived in the area!
Customer service : off the charts. Let's get to the good part, the Philly. I got a Philly cheesesteak on the French bread . --- It's most certainly not your ordinary Philly in the best way possible . The meat quality is amazing.. It almost has a sweet Unami taste to this.z It's not over seasoned... but seasoned rather perfectly . There was a somewhat older Asian lady who took my order and she really made me feel at home . This place gets a 10 out of 10 for me . I usually don't ever give 10 out of 10 .. but they hit everything spot on. I highly recommend if you are in the area!
Delicious Sub sandwich if you are in the area. The inside is very clean and the staff extremely nice. Sandwiches are large and filled with meat and vegetables. The bread is soft with a nice crunch on the outside. 11 out of 10 for me.
Love this spot for Philly cheesesteaks! They give generous amounts of meat, cheese, onions and peppers (and jalapeños if you want things on the spicier side). The bread is very fresh and they have a house made hot sauce that is sambal-like. Owners are very friendly and they've maintained reasonable prices over the years. Would recommend calling your order in to avoid having to wait. Wish they delivered!
Stopped by today to grab a sandwich and the staff were very inviting and nice. The sandwich itself was great. I use to come here all the time and now just like before it makes me want to come again and again. I recommend Viking as a great place to get a sandwich.
Friendly staff, clean, and delicious fresh sandwich. I got the smoked turkey #11, the large is large. Next time I will try the small sandwich, Mighty Viking and Club C look delicious.
Always a great sandwich. Ordered a sandwich to go, the "cheese" (#11, if I remember correctly! ) and it was ready toot sweet. Hint - always try it heated, makes a great difference. I added a side of macaroni salad, for a little treat as well. This sandwich is big, so half today and half for lunch tomorrow. Great value for the size and quality . . . my new to-go lunch place for a sammy!
This location is open Mondays thru Fridays, closes early on Saturdays unlike SF location. Both locations are closed on Sundays. The nicest owners operate this sandwich shop. There are tables and chairs for dine-in. They also offer teriyaki rice plates if you're not craving sandwiches. The sandwiches are humongous and decently priced. When Michael's Sourdough is closed on vacation, this is a good option B. There are never any lines out the door and plenty of street parking on this side of industrial San Rafael.
